Propaganda was a technique which was highly used during the time of the world war II. It was mostly used by the Nazis and the government of the United States.
The aim and the purpose of using this was to convince the people of the benefits of the practices which were used by the two of these. For example the government of US made use of propaganda to convince people to buy bonds, or to join the armed forces.

On the 31 January 1933, Hitler, conscious of his lack of a majority in the Reichstag, immediately called for new elections to try and strengthen his position. The Nazis aimed to increase their share of the vote so that they would have a majority in the Reichstag. This would allow them to rule unopposed and unhindered by coalition governments.
