Answer: x=1

Step-by-step explanation:

3(x+1)=-2(x-1)+6

remove the parentheses

3x+3=-2x+2+6

calculate

3x+3=-2x+8

move the terms

3x+2x=8-3

collect like terms calculate

5x=5

divide both sides

x=1

sorry if its wrong i tried my best

x=1

Do 3 times x and three times one and get 3x+3

now on the right side multiply -2 by (x-1) and negative times negative is positive so you have -2x+-2x+6 = 3x+3

now subtract 2x on both sides and get

-2+6=x+3

now -2+6 =4 so 4 =x+3

now we do 4-3=1 so

x=1

What is equavilent to (10x+7r-r^(2))+(-6r^(2)-18+5r)
mote1985 [20]

Answer:

−7r^(2)+12r+10x−18

Step-by-step explanation:

Grab the original equation: 10x+7r−r^(2)−6r^(2)−18+5r

For subtraction bits, treat them as negatives: 10x+7r+−r^(2)+−6r^(2)+−18+5r

Combine like terms: (−r^2+−6r^2)+(7r+5r)+(10x)+(−18)

Simplify that, and you get your final answer: −7r^(2)+12r+10x+−18

Determine whether the parallelogram is a rhombus, rectangle, square, or none. Explain.
Tju [1.3M]
QRST is a rhombus

Let’s look at the diagonals
Length QS = sr(4^2 + 0) = 4
Length RT = sr(0 + 6^2) = 6
This means it cannot be a square or rectangle as they both have equal length diagonals.

QS is horizontal (y values same)
RT is horizontal (x values same)
This means it is a rhombus because diagonals are perpendicular and different lengths.

Squares have perpendicular diagonals of same length
Rectangles have diagonals of same length but not perpendicular

Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

x=7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this, cross multiply

3/4=x/10

4*x=3*10

4x=30

Divide by 4 on both sides

x=7.5

Hope this helps! :)
