Geography

Answer:

The asteroid belt is too hot for comets to form.

Explanation:

Asteroids are made up of metals and rocky materials, while comets are basically ice, dust, few rocky materials and some organic compounds. Short period comets are formed in the Kuiper belt, and long period comets originate from the outer regions of the solar system. Short period comets orbit the sun completely in less than 200 years. Since they are mostly ice and dust, they cannot be formed in the asteroid belt.

1. how do transnational corporations impact MDCs and LDCs? In five sentences
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

Globalisation impacts on trade, with many companies operating across borders.

Transnational corporations (TNCs) or multinational corporations (MNCs) are companies that operate in more than one country. Unilever, McDonalds and Apple are all examples of TNCs.

TNCs tend to have offices and headquarters located in the developed world. They often have factories in countries that are not as economically developed to take advantage of cheaper labour.

The great Mosque of Isfahan was built with a large sahn (courtyard) in its center in order to house an open air food market for
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

The correct answer is

C provide the Mosque’s clergy with a private space for prayer and contemplation

Explanation:

The great Mosque of Isfahan is an ancient Mosque found in Iran. It dates as far back as the 11th century, when the Seljuk Turks established the City Isfahan as their capital.

Over the years the mosque has been restructured, as some additions were made to it during the rule of Il-Khanid, Timurid, Safavid, and Qatar. Under the rule of Malik Shah I (who ruled between 1072-1092) and his immediate successors, the mosque attained its current four-iwan design.

Linking the four iwans of the mosque, at the center is a big courtyard open to the air, which provides a cool/quiet space from the noise and hustle of the city.
