What affect did the California Gold Rush have on mexican californians

History

Hello!

When the settlers came for the gold rush, they sometimes forced the Mexican Californians out of their lands in order to be able to stay there. When the gold rush ended, some settlers stayed there because they liked the location, which resulted in the Mexican Californians losing their lands. It certainly had a negative effect on the people already living there.

You can feel free to let me know if you have any questions regarding this!
Thanks!

How did the american revolution embody enlightenment principles
ololo11 [35]
The Enlightenment influenced the American Revolution in numerous ways, with core Enlightenment ideals including liberty, equality and justice leading the creation of conditions for the American Revolution and the Constitution that followed. Many ideas and concepts, including natural rights, freedom from oppression, and innovative ways of thinking regarding government structure came directly from Enlightenment philosophers, and helped to form firm foundations for colonialism and modern day America.

How did the totalitarianism that arose after world war 1 differ from earlier forms of authoritarianism
Mama L [17]

The main difference between the totalitarianism that arose after World War I and earlier forms of authoritarianism is that it allowed much less individual freedom.

Authoritarianism is a term political scientists use for a worldview that values orderliness and authority, and distrusts outsiders and social change.

Totalitarianism is a political concept of a mode of government which prohibits opposition parties, restricts individual opposition to the state and its claims, and exercises an extremely high degree of control over public and private life. It is regarded as the most extreme and complete form of authoritarianism.
