If you have the curve on a graph, then it should be easy.

-- Pick any level on the y-axis, like a level that's marked with a
       horizontal grid line.
Find the point on the graph where it crosses that level.
From that point, look down on the x-axis and find the time at that point.

-- On the y-axis, find the level that's 1/2 of the first one.
Find the point on the graph where it crosses this new level.
From this new point, look down on the x-axis and find the time.

-- The time interval between the two points is the half-life of that isotope.

The Lithosphere consists of the solid surface that covers the  Earth. Features such as hills, mountains, plateaus, plains and ocean basins are land forms covering the lithosphere.

The atmosphere consists of the thin layer of gases that  surround the earth and rises up to 100 miles from the earth's surface, beyond which is outer space.

Why are the mountains thinly populated? Answer long in points . Please!
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

The main reason why mountains are rarely populated is because of the harsh climate that are dominating in those areas. On the other side, another important reason is that mountainous areas are not fertile enough and people are not able to grow crops. Lack of resources therefore is obliging people to move from the mountains to lower terrains.

Explanation:

Because of the mentioned reasons most of the people since the beginning of civilization were inhabiting river valleys and the areas that have better climate.

For example, Chinese civilization developed in the valley of Yangtze and Huang He and not Himalayas.
