It would get a whole lot colder because of them no longer receiving the warm water from the Caribbean ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.

Without the north atlantic current keeping the waters and climate colder than the southern portion of the world, it would become just like the rest of the southern part. there would be no harsher climate but instead warmer and more tropical than it is now. have a great day!! :)
