Este cuento evoca a un hombre que al principio del cuento señala que la diferencia de una hora solo importa al momento del nacer y al momento de morir. Esta reflexión la tuvo entre las tres y cuatro de la tarde cuando se interpuso una nube que no lo dejaba ver. Nube que lo perseguía a todas partes y que no fue hasta que fue a una boda, que su esposa enfada le dijo: ya vienes tu a fastidiar. Y este se va percatando poco a poco que la nube es el mismo.  Hasta el final del cuento que hace que llueva hasta volver a enfadar a su esposa porque llovió como una tormenta. El hombre estaba muerto y convertido en nube.
