Types of conflict

2. External conflict: This on the other hand occurs between a character and other forces such as between the main character and other characters or between a character and his/her environment.

The excerpt showed that when Arnetta Streeter was in elementary school, she wanted to become a nun because nuns were very strict. But probably later in life, she changed her mind from becoming a nun and this shows conflict within herself.
