A is the correct answer. A coefficient is just a number that appears in front of a variable. Please note that a number that doesn't have a variable behind it is still a coefficient since there is technically a variable behind it with a power of 0.

2. The children ran <em><u>across</u></em> the bridge.

3. <em><u>Towards</u></em> evening, you can hear the frogs croak.

4. I dug the flowerbeds <em><u>with</u></em> a spade.

5. The mountaineer reached the peak <em><u>with</u></em> great difficulty.

The prepositions in the given sentences are underlined as follows-

1. The bus shuttles <u>between</u> Delhi and Gurgaon.

2. The children ran <u>across</u> the bridge.

3. <u>Towards</u> evening, you can hear the frogs croak.

4. I dug the flowerbeds <u>with</u> a spade.

At the city museum, child admission is
kramer
We have a system of equations here:

Let 'a' = adult tickets and 'c' = children's tickets

5.80c + 9.00a = 1056.20

We also know that the total number of tickets (adults and children) was 149:

a + c = 149

We need only solve the system.

How do you complete problem number 4?
brilliants [131]
(I'm going to translate y' to dy/dx as it makes it easier to read for me, you could change it back if you wanted.)
x \frac{dy}{dx} -y=0
\frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{y}{x}
\int \frac{1}{y} dy= \int \frac{1}{x} dx (separate the variables)
\ln y=\ln x +c
\ln y = \ln kx (by letting c = ln k and using log laws)
y=kx (raise everything to power e)
3=k\times1 \implies k=3    (applying boundary conditions)
Particular solution: y=3x
