History

The middle class created a different class that became the buffer and the melting pot for the nobles and peasants.

Explanation:

In many ways the Middle class of Europe was the middle buffer between he noble oppressors and the relentlessly oppressed peasants in the countries of Europe as serfdom was taking its alt breaths.

It was into the middle class that the peasant would be socially mobile to as the noble ship was rare and almost out of reach.

The noble themselves did not find the middle class that terribly below as they were educated and sophisticated so they mingled with them too.

This created a sort of melting pot for both the parts of the society.

REFLECT! John Green stated that it might have been better if the Persians beat the Greeks. Do you agree with him? Why or why not
Trava [24]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

I do not agree with what John Green said.

John Green stated that it might have been better if the Persians beat the Greeks. His arguments were that the Persian life was not bad. Persians ruled prosperous cities. And he comments that life was not easy in ancient Greece if you were a woman or a slave.

Of course, Greece was not perfect and had many issues. But the Persia Empire also had its many issues too.

I think it was good that Greece won the Persian Wars. The Greek victory established a foundation of a classical time in which Greece "exported" the idea of democracy to other states, as well as the philosophical ideas of great thinkers of Athens. Arts, literature, sculpture, and architecture were other important Greek influences that transcended the test of time.

Why did the fight for equality and freedom make women and enslaved African Americans question their position in society
faltersainse [42]

Only 50 years after the defeat of the British at Yorktown, most Americans had already forgotten the extensive role black people had played on both sides during the War for Independence. At the 1876 Centennial Celebration of the Revolution in Philadelphia, not a single speaker acknowledged the contributions of African Americans in establishing the nation. Yet by 1783, thousands of black Americans had become involved in the war. Many were active participants, some won their freedom and others were victims, but throughout the struggle blacks refused to be mere bystanders and gave their loyalty to the side that seemed to offer the best prospect for freedom.
