He also made fun of other playwrights, like Euripdes in The Frogs, and even the philosophers, like Socrates in The Clouds. By the time he died, he wrote forty-four comedies. Some of the comedies speak of the long Peloponnesian war, and more famous is the Lysistrata, whose heroine leads a sexual strike to achieve peace.
