PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE BRAINIEST!!!!!!!!!!
Elza [17]

Answer:

13, 14, and 15 first for some reasons lol!

13.The text structure of this paragraph. The main idea of this paragraph is mimic octopus and the facts are it can change it's color also its shape and behavior. It is able to imitate 15 different species and this paragraph is a sequence.

14.He wants to wait because he has been doing school eight hours straight also he needs to clean he's room and take Boomer for a walk. Also, he feels that he is tired because he has been doing school for eight hours straight so that makes him tired so he needs to take a break so later he can do homework and be more focused.

15.I think because most authors come from different childhoods and stuff like that. Also, if they come from different backgrounds the might take a facts different and some sad facts might hurt them a lot because they come from a family or a background that is all full of joy then when they hear something really sad it could hurt them. Authors write very different stories (that might write sad stories cause they had a sad child hood so the take facts and stuff differently) some use the sad events to make a good story. Some authors use happy events. That how I think that different authors might interpret facts in multiple ways.

Hope this helps :)))

Les - How do these lines from Eliot's poem make reference to Chaucer's verse, while at the same time making the exact opposite
OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

Both commemorate April, but Eliot is negative about April while Chaucer is

positive

Explanation:

Geoffrey Chaucer's (1343-1400) "The Canterbury Tales" (Prologue) starts by mentioning April positively in a sense that in the month of April rain waters the dry ground  (from March) to water flowers' roots. At this happy time people are in good mood, and they want to go on religious pilgrimages.

<em>"Whan that Aprille with his shoures sote </em>

<em>The droghte of Marche hath perced to the rote, </em>

<em>And bathed every veyne in swich licour, </em>

<em>Of which vertu engendred is the flour;"</em>

However T.S Eliot (1888-1965) starts his masterpiece poem "The Waste Land" (1922) by mentioning April negatively by saying;

<em>"APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding </em>

<em>Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing </em>

<em>Memory and desire, stirring </em>

<em>Dull roots with spring rain. </em>

<em>Winter kept us warm, covering </em>

<em>Earth in forgetful snow, feeding </em>

<em>A little life with dried tubers"</em>

Presenting a single or definite interpretation of Waste Land would be injustice to this poem. But in simple words, Eliot means to say that April is the cruelest of the months because life has to come out of its comfort zone (hibernation and sleeping) in winter. April is also cruel because its flowers, rains stir a past memory and create a longing for the past.
