What are the personalities of shylock in act1 ?

English
1 answer:
sattari [20]3 years ago
8 0

Shakespeare's intention was not to make Shylock a tragic figure; instead, Shylock was meant to function as a man who could be vividly realized as the epitome of selfishness; he must be defeated in this romantic comedy. In a sense, it is Shakespeare's own brilliance which led him to create Shylock as almost too human. Shylock is powerfully drawn, perhaps too powerfully for this comedy, but his superb dignity is admirable, despite the fact that we must finally condemn him.

Sliva [168]

Answer:

create a key-word outline

Explanation:

The key word outline refers to taking a paragraph of words or a speech and going sentence by sentence so as to extract the words that will make up the main and important idea. It means that a student or a person writes the main word or the key word for the entire sentence which provides the meaning of the sentence.

The keyword must contain the most important points of the sentence and should bring out the meaning of the sentence in one point.

Thus in the context, Natasha, a student should make a key word outline of the speech about the Chinese New Year for which she is taking notes of.

Hitman42 [59]

As the lyric voice dreams and hopes all through the poem it means this subject is fantasizing of a different world, so it is implied that the speaker lives in a time and place where equality does not exist. This is a common theme on Langston Hughes' poems, the need for equality for a better world. As it was written before the 1964 Civil Rights Act, there were a lot of segregation over the United States, and many black people were harmed and had struggles because of the racial issue.
