African colonization was part of the African process of reaching all continents around the globe. The expansion in different parts changed together with the denominations. However, according to historians, the conquest of the Europeanpowers gained recognition through Belgium.
The African colonization was mainly done because economical, political and religious reasons which were necessary because of the depression in the industrialsector in diverse regions of the world. And because of this, many raw materials had been lost to Europe.

The Berlin Conference was the major event which tried to end the disputes of European countries about their colonies in Africa. In this conference laws were created to rule the colonies backed with the military might and draw the artificial political boundaries of the colonies in Africa.
