Georgia would become the Savannah Colony. Georgia was named after the king George and Savannah became its first city. The Savannah colony was made to benefit the poor people living in that land, to increase the trade in order to make the poor people stand on their own feet, to protect them from the outer world. Savannah is famous for its Savannah River Port, Savannah College of Arts and Design, historical sites, etc.
