2- Weathering breaks down and loosens the surface minerals of rock so they can be transported away by agents of erosion such as water, wind and ice. There are two types of weathering: mechanical and chemical. Mechanical weathering is the disintegration of rock into smaller and smaller fragments.

3- While Physical weathering breaks down a rock’s physical structure, chemical weathering alters a rock’s chemical composition. Then, Physical weathering works with mechanical forces, such as friction and impact, while chemical weathering takes place at the molecular level with the exchange of ions and cations.

4- Physical Weathering is In Nature. When water in a river or stream moves quickly, it can lift up the rocks from the bottom of that body of water. As in ice forms in the cracks of a street, the water expands and pushes against the surrounding rock, making the cracks wider, eventually breaking apart the rock.

Dependent variable: grades

Constants: same kind of exercise, same set of students

Yes, there is a control group. The control group are the 10 people that do not exercise

In an experiment, the independent variable is that variable that the experimenter changes or manipulates. In this case, the independent variable is the EXERCISE.

The dependent variable is the variable that responds to changes made to the independent variable or the variable that the experimenter measures. In this case, the dependent variable is the GRADE of the people.

The constant is the variable that the experimenter must keep constant or unchanged throughout the experiment. In this experiment, the constants are the same kind of exercise, same set of people used.

In this experiment, there is a CONTROL GROUP. The control group is the group that does not receive the experimental treatment in the experiment. In this case, The control group are the 10 people that do not exercise

If the greenhouse effect were to completely disappear, what would happen to earth?
dexar [7]

The greenhouse effect is necessary to explain why weather occurs. The climate of the Earth is greatly affected by two opposing processes: the greenhouse effect and atmospheric convection. The greenhouse effect is acting to warm the lower atmosphere and cool the upper atmosphere while the atmospheric convention (composed of thermals, clouds, precipitation) is cooling the lower atmosphere and warms the upper atmosphere). The greenhouse effect warms the Earth’s surface, but very few people are aware that weather processes greatly limit that warming. In the absence of greenhouse effect, the Earth will be left without weather.
