What is a lesson about being human that is in Chapters 18-27 (A lesson before dying)
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

dont fantasize a better future away from your home community, but rather seek to counteract the influences that have worn it down.

humans fantasize a better future away from their home community, always wanting something more, something better like in their mentality if they get away from home, they won't have to follow their rules and their free. but that's when more problems start to swarm and more solutions start to fade.

so human shouldn't fantasize of better things and just appreciate what they have now and try to think of a way to counteract the influence that would crush your future, so when those are all gone, the better future will open up and there would be a clear path for you to enter that better future that you have worked hard for.

In heading west mcCandless feels free of a world he describes as
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

a "stifling world of his parents and peers, a world of abstraction and security and material excess".

Explanation:

"Into The Wild", by Jon Krakueur, tells the story of a twenty year old man named Christopher McCandless. He had just graduated from college where he studied Law. Instead of pursuing and advancing his career in Law, McCandless chooses a path which is somewhat strange. He begins his journey taking the western route and later moving north to Alaska.

He undertakes this journey because he believed that the present world which he lived in and was trying to escape from was 'stifling and reeked of material excesses'. The kind of life he now chooses to live is best described as an Ascetic life only that in his case, he does not go the spiritual route. As he begins his journey, he takes along with him books about edible wild plants and thriving in a lifestyle such as he has chosen.
