Answer:

Option B,C and E ("head held high", "smile to yourself", "special bond")

Explanation:

Complete Question:

Read the excerpt from Does My Head Look Big in This? by Randa Abdel-Fattah.

Because it’s pretty hard to walk around with people staring at your "towel-head” and not feel kind of pleased with yourself if you manage to get through the stares and comments with your head held high. That’s when this warm feeling buzzes through you and you smile to yourself, knowing God’s watching you, knowing that He knows you’re trying to be strong and please Him. Like you’re both in on a private joke and something special and warm and extraordinary is happening and nobody else in the world knows about it because it’s your own experience, your own personal friendship with your Creator. I guess when I’m not wearing the hijab I feel like I’m missing out. I feel cheated out of that special bond.

Which phrases from the excerpt best support the narrator’s confident tone?

SELECT THREE OPTIONS

A) “people staring”

Answer: I didn’t finish reading The Diary of Anne Frank, so I’m not too sure about my answer, but I got this.

She noticed that both she and the Jews were stuck in small areas. Most of the Jews were already captured, and she was not. She feels grateful that she was not captured, but she sometimes feels upset that she has to be in hiding instead of going about her day as usual.

Which event is described in this excerpt from Book 13 of Homer's Odyssey?
serg [7]
C, Minerva disguises him as an old beggar. The idea is that he wants to go unrecognized when he returns home to his people. You can figure that he's an old beggar based on phrases like "a man of miseries" and "uncouth".

However, if you have trouble reading older texts, websites like Sparknotes and Shmoop are great for getting summaries.

Based on Dante's description of Hell in the Inferno, which of the following statements best supports Dante's beliefs?
LuckyWell [14K]

I believe the answer is: A. Dante believed that a sinners punishment should be a serve as his sin

In Dante's inferno, hell is divided into several levels, and the punishment/torture that given to humans would be most severe as the sinners go down to the lower levels. The first level on Dante's circle of hell is given to the people who do not believe in Christianity while the lowest level is given to the traitors of christianity.
