Answer:

<h2>The turkey needs to cook for 5 more minutes </h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

According to recipe, Amanda should cook for total of 1/2 hour which is 30 minutes. If she has been cooking for 25 minutes, the remaining time needed for the turkey to cook will be t<u>he difference between the total time and the time she has already spent in cooking.</u>

minutes\ left = 30 minutes - 25 minutes\\\\munites\ left = 5 minutes

Hence, the turkey needs to cook for 5 more minutes

Answer:

assuming its an annual interest

Okay so 6 percent interest, the bank is paying you.
So with this it’s 6 percent of 1500 and add it to 1500.

You can always find 6 percent of 1500 and then add but here’s a short cut.
Your principle (beginning) balance is 1500.
That’s already 100 percent since thats yoru original value.
You then get added 6 percent interest.
We are jsut adding 6 percent to 100 percent so 106 percent.
Now we solve normally and you’d get the answer faster.

106 percent is 106/100 or 1 3/5 or 1.06

now we multiply
1500 * 1.06 = 1590

Your final balance would be 1590 after the 6 percent interest is added.

Person A can paint the neighbor's house 6 times as fast as Person B. The year A and B worked together it
uranmaximum [27]

Person A takes 2.3 days to paint the house working alone

Person B takes 13.8 days to paint the house working alone

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Let "x" be the number of days it takes person A  to paint the house

Person A can paint the neighbor's house 6 times as fast as Person B

Therefore.

Number of days it takes person B to paint the house = 6x

Their rates of painting are added to get  the rate working together

\frac{\text{1 house}}{\text{x days}} + \frac{\text{1 house}}{\text{6x days}} = \frac{\text{1 house}}{\text{2 days}}

\frac{1}{x} + \frac{1}{6x} = \frac{1}{2}\\\\\frac{1 \times 6}{6x} + \frac{1}{6x} = \frac{1}{2}\\\\\frac{7}{6x} = \frac{1}{2}\\\\\ x = \frac{7}{3}= 2.3

Thus person A takes 2.3 days to paint the house working alone

Person B = 2x = 6(2.3) = 13.8

Thus person B takes 13.8 days to paint the house working alone

Given Bold u equals negative Bold i plus Bold j, Bold v equals 10 Bold i minus 2 Bold j, and Bold w equals negative 8 Bold j,
OverLord2011 [107]

Answer: u.(v+w) = -20

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

u = -i+j

v = 10i-2j

w = -8j

v+w = 10i-2j +(-8j)

v+w = 10i-10j

u .(v+w) = (-i+j).(10i-10j)

= -1×10 + 1 ×-10

= -10-10

u.(v+w) = -20
