Tutankhamen was the great grandson of Tuthmosis III.

Tutankhamen and Tuthmosis III were both famous Egyptian Pharaohs. King Tutankhamen died at a young age and is now famous for his tomb.

Tuthmosis III was born a prince of the Egyptian Empire. His father, Tuthmosis II, was pharaoh of Egypt. Thutmosis III is known as one of the greatest pharaohs in the history of Ancient Egypt. During his rule, he defeated many of Egypt's enemies and greatly expanded the extent of the Egyptian Empire.
