I think this quote means that when bad things happen, the government needs to step in which messes with other people's lives. Laozi said that quote, he was born in Quren a village in the distract of Hu. Laozi believes in Taoism, Taoism believes that "a Chinese sect claiming to follow the teaching of Lao-tzu but incorporating pantheism and sorcery in addition to Taoism" That definition was from Audio English. A cool thing that Laozi did was hold a meeting with young Confiucus and old Doaist . Even though Laozi blamed Confucius for his pride and ambition, while Confucius compared Laozi to a dragon.

I think that this quote means if the people in the country are weak, then the country is weak and the same with strength. No country is permanently strong or weak. Dao said this quote. Dao believed in Daoism which teaches how to act towards oneself and nature.
I believe the three things that would create an ideal society would be a central government that keeps out of people's lives. I think that in every state, individuals should be able to pump their own gas. From the earliest starting point of the war, an objective of the Union armed force was to catch the Confederate capital at Richmond. Petersburg had been the last barrier in Grant's way. Following a nine-month attack, Grant at long last drove Lee's armed force out of that city. Jefferson Davis realized that Richmond was devastated.

Texas had lots of American immigrants at the time and had a lot of slave plantations that could of extended the south. Texas also had recently broken free from Mexico, and was made by American settlers who made their government based on the US. So, because of all this, America decided to annex Texas and incorporate it into the Union.
A factor which didn't lead to decolonization movements in Africa would be Greed - b. Greed was actually the reason why there was colonialization in the first place in Africa. The people at the time saw this as an excelllent opportunity to make a lot of money.
