Answer:

Check below for the letter.

Explanation:

11, Excellent Street,

St Anthony,

Florida.

16th May, 2020.

The editor,

The Nations' Newspaper,

Florida.

Dear Sir/Ma,

I will like to use this medium to inform you of our duties as citizens of the United States and how best we can discharge them.

First, patriotism is the first duty that is required of a citizen. A citizen must be ready to protect the interest of his nation at all times. He must not engage in any acts whatsoever that harm his country and his fellow compatriots.

A citizen must ensure that he pays his taxes regularly to the government's coffers knowing fully well that it is a key means of generating funds that are used by the government to provide the citizens with the necessities of life.

Every good citizen must engage in community services that will foster the growth and the development of his community and the nation at large.

For proper discharge of these duties, government should make strict rules that enhance their enforcement. Citizens should also be periodically educated on the need to faithfully exercise these duties.

It is expected of the media, whose representative you are, to keep enlightening the public in this regard.

Yours faithfully,

Alison Parker.

While Tom is a college friend, and Daisy is a second cousin once
Sladkaya [172]

Even though this question has no options, I will provide you with an answer that will most likely be helpful.

Answer:

"Across the courtesy bay the white palaces of fashionable East Egg glittered along the water, and the history of the summer really begins on the evening I drove over there to have dinner with the Tom Buchanans. Daisy was my second cousin once removed, and I'd known Tom in college. And just after the war I spent two days with them in Chicago."

Explanation:

Nick is the narrator in the novel "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. He is, in a way, the link that connects all the characters. Everyone relies on Nick to keep their secrets or to help them achieve their goals.

<u>It is in Chapter 1 that Nick explains his relationship with Tom and Daisy Buchanan. This is the piece of text evidence:</u>

<u>"Across the courtesy bay the white palaces of fashionable East Egg glittered along the water, and the history of the summer really begins on the evening I drove over there to have dinner with the Tom Buchanans. Daisy was my second cousin once removed, and I'd known Tom in college. And just after the war I spent two days with them in Chicago."</u>

Tom is a very wealthy, prejudiced man - a brute with a lot of money - who got to marry Daisy, a beautiful yet superficial girl. Daisy is Gatsby's love interest, and Nick will get caught in between their lies and love affairs.
