Answer:

If you took vitamins only and drink water, what would happen? You would die. Your body and the grass needs water to survive. Water is the most basic need other than oxygen, or carbon dioxide in the case of plants. The other problem is if you add fertilizer to a plant, it needs water to transfer it to its cells. Without this delivery device, the fertilizer is useless and can actually harm the plant instead of helping it.

A male deer (stag) has long and heavy antlers while the female (doe) does not, Explain the purpose of this genetic variation and
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Antlers are generally only found on male deer in other species of deer. Females with higher-than-normal testosterone levels, on the other hand, can grow antlers.

Why Do Deer Grow Antlers?

Antlers are grown by male deer to lure female deer for mating. Females will be shown a display as the antlers are developing during mating season, with each male attempting to become the most dominating.

Deer utilize their antlers to protect themselves from predators and other deer. When deer attack each other, their antlers might lock together, forcing the deer to starve to death.

Which, if any, of the main effects (type of tuna and type of packing liquid) contribute significant information for the predicti
wariber [46]

The regression equation is:

y = 1.15 – 0.251 x₁ + 0.078 x₂ + 0.306 x₁x₂

 Where,
x₁ = -0.2508
x₂ = 0.0777
x₁x₂ = 0.3058

Inserting the values,
y = 1.15 – {0.251 × (-0.2508)} + {0.078 ×(0.0777)} + {0.306 × (0.3058)}

y = 1.15 - (- 0.0629508) + 0.0060606 + 0.935748

y = 1.15 + 0.0629508 + 0.0060606 + 0.935748

y = 1.3125862

Answer:

x₁ and x₂ are main effects (a type of tuna and type of packing liquid) that contribute significant information for the prediction of y.
