Hello, I'm Eric. I'll be trying my best to assist you on your question today.

Slavery occured in 17th and the 18th centuries. African slavery help others win the war.

What were they forced to do?

There were estimated 6 million slaves. They commonly planted, tend, harvest and provide supplies while the rest fought for their lives.

There were also different types of slaves such as House Slaves.

What were house slaves?

They lived in the slave owner's house and did work around the house such as cleaning, cooking, serving meals etc.

Although, they were forced to do there job. If not they would get a punishment such as a whip and even worse I'd like not to say.

Summary

After all the horror those slaves had to go through.. it finally ended. It ended in 1865, the war ended slavery. After that, it was illegal to hold slaves.

Ivan

Pre-WW1 pacifism was the belief that violence was always immoral, even if someone is trying to kill you.
