Thematic maps are maps that put more emphasis on particular subjects or theme when connected to specific areas. They can, therefore, be used in both in setting data and references; however, reference maps do not show physical features such as rivers boundaries and cities. But the thematic maps are commonly used for such features. The plan also emphasizes on different variations such as healthy population density and health variations in various states globally.
