There are many ways to treat depression, but not everyone agrees with all of these ways.  One way is with medication.  This should only be done under the advice of a physician (doctor/psychiatrist).  Another was to treat it is through therapy.  Talking to someone is the best way to get the help and treatment needed for depression.  It also gives you way to cope with what you are going through.  Lastly, support groups for all age groups as an excellent way to treat depression.  Talking to people, who are going through the same things you are, helps to process and understand what is happening to you.
