A persona is the author's voice. It is not the author because often the persona differs, which means it is the person that is inside of the book that is narrating what is going on and who is telling the story.

Persona is a Latin word and it means actor’s mask. It is the person who is understood to be literally working on a particular work. The persona is always different from the author. Indeed, it is the voice chosen by the author for the literal work. The persona may be a character or a narrator. However, since the work shows the qualities, such as taste, prejudice, emotion, or any other characteristics of a human personality, in this case the work is deemed to be the voice of a persona.

Which of the following statements BEST describes contemporary literature?
denpristay [2]
Some people are saying it's C-Deeply personal.  Although, to be honest, ALL literature is A because it depends on how you interpret it.  That's why we have literature classes and 10 people can write 10 different opinions on what the literature is saying.  Since contemporary simply means the writing written after WWII era, it can range so much, that saying it's deeply personal, in my opinion, is too broad. So I would say A, unless you have something in your reading/lessons that say otherwise, or gives a specific answer.
