Eleanor Roosevelt’s main purpose in “What I Hope to Leave Behind” is to persuade.
She believes that people have an ability to enjoy life and one important thing that we must do is to give or share those people that ability to enjoy life. To help others enjoy life, Eleanor Roosevelt says that we have to value money less.
