Rice grew well in the wet, coastal area. As agriculture increased, farms became larger plantations. Plantation owners wanted to increase their profits by using workers that they would not have to pay.

In the ancient Olympic Games, they obviously were generally held in ancient Greece. Nowadays, the Olympics are held all over the world. In the ancient Olympic Games, they did not wear clothes in a lot of the events. Also, a lot of their events were deadly. 

They had chariot racing, javelin throwing, wrestling, and the track and field to name a few. Now in the modern Olympics, they have so many more events that one could participate in.
