During Mr.Lincolns time there was considered to be the peek of slavery so I would consider the poem to touch on the subject that if not all equal the house will fall and will be divided.

So lets say you found farming tools  then a secondary source would be like telling how they farmed so you can see how they used those tools. in an example say i said that the native Americans rode on horses were did they ride those horses? i hope this helps
