You noted how Eleanor Roosevelt used parallel sentences and parallel structure in "The Struggle for Human Rights." Writers use p

arallel sentences for better flow and grammatical accuracy. This style of writing creates balanced sentences and allows for elements or ideas of equal importance to be stated in a similar manner. Based on what you've learned about creating parallel structure, write three original sentences that use parallel structure. Your sentences can be fiction or nonfiction

Answer:

Jungle Rhythm

The subway is suppressing his emotions, yet moving him around;

but now he is getting out of the tireless train Harlem bound.

He is standing there and is listening to the sound of percussive thundering,

so the sticks are rattling, and the buckets are responding.

The jungle rhythm of the city is echoing through the street,

and the subway is providing the lower bassline for the fast walking feet.

Explanation:

The parallel structure is in the progressive present.
