Why do you think the U.S. maintained a position of neutrality in World War II for so long? What was the role of the U.S. in this
Tamiku [17]
The US believed in isolation, if another country attacked the US that is the only way that we would get involved, therefore we tried to stay out of the mass killings and havoc that the Germans and Japanese were creating until we felt that it involved the US. The US did not want to pick a side and have to stay loyal to that side and go to war when that country did because of the alliance. The US finally joined in to help the allied powers to supply them with weapons/military troops. They did not enter the war until December 1941.

nevsk [136]

Answer:

Frankish

Anglo-Saxon

The fall of the Roman Empire rests upon the attacks of Germanic barbarian tribes. The Germanic Tribes eventually divided Roman holding provinces areas to settle down and formed kingdoms. In 476 C.E., Odoacer became King of Italy and the first barbarian to rule. Various Germanic tribes migrated into other regions. Many Germanic tribes merged, including the Angles with the Saxons in England, Clovis established the Frankish kingdom with established Catholicism in western Europe and Theodoric, Ostrogoths king, established  Ravenna as capital.

Why do you think African Americans were impacted more harshly than white Americans during the Great Depression?
DIA [1.3K]

Answer:

Explanation:

The Great Depression impacted African Americans for decades to come. It spurred the rise of African-American activism, which laid the groundwork for the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s.  The Great Depression was the worst economic downtown in the industrialized world. While no group escaped the economic devastation of the Great Depression, few suffered more than African Americans. Since they were already relegated to lower-paying professions, African Americans had less of a financial cushion to fall back on when the economy collapsed.
