It can change how the reader feels about a certain topic from the story, it can make he reader expand their thinking of subjects from the story.

Certain words, imargey langue, affect how the readers feel.

Example; The puppy trudged through the rain, shivering with cold and hunger.

That makes you feel sad and pity the puppy.

Post hoc is a logical sequence that triggers fallacy due to causation. This states that since Event X follows after Event Y, therefore, Event Y was caused by Event X. For example,

Laney borrowed my laptop to do her project. When she returned it to me, I found out that all my email messages were deleted. Therefore, Laney deleted them.

This cannot be necessarily true all the time. I may have accidentally deleted them through my phone. Laney may not have logged in to my email account. Hence, post hoc is a logical fallacy.
