English

tamaranim1 [39]3 years ago

Both the poems describe the war in different perspectives.

Explanation:

  • Muriel Rukeyser expresses her grief about the war and the sad stories which were published in the newspaper every morning. In the end end, she hoped there would be peace and love.
  • David Lance Goines uses satire to express his views of horrors of war. It creates a sense of suspense which makes it  thrilling. His aggressive arguments give us a sense of the brutality of the war.
  • Rukeyser's poem takes a passive approach to reveal the aftermath of war but Goines poem takes a violent approach.

It's a good idea to write fully developed paragraphs because?
wlad13 [49]
A paragraph is a series of sentences that are organized and coherent, and are all related to a single topic. Almost every piece of writing you do that is longer than a few sentences should be organized into paragraphs. This is because paragraphs show a reader where the subdivisions of an essay begin and end, and thus help the reader see the organization of the essay and grasp its main points.
