Answer:

America is American. But in a deeper way, literature is “American” because it says something fundamental about our identity as Americans. ... Literature is a product of the society from which it springs, reflecting the values, concerns, and spirit of a people

At the end of the scene, both Friar Lawrence and the Nurse tell Romeo he is acting like a woman for being so sad and emotional.
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

I personally do not think that it was fair for them to say this, either to Romeo or to women. Gender stereotypes were a lot more prevalent in the 13- and 1400s than they are now. People expected more of men than they did of women — they were not supposed to show weakness or sorrow.

Which element is missing from this evaluation?
Eduardwww [97]

Answer: An evaluation of the evidence

Explanation:

The thesis statement is essentially the main idea of a research or claim. It is usually short and concise such that it fits into a sentence. In this scenario that would be the author saying that everyone who is registered to vote should vote and those who are not registered should register.

There is also a concluding statement and a summary of the claim in the last paragraph.

What is missing however, is the evaluation of evidence. The claim did not present evidence as to why people should vote so evaluation is impossible.
