I am pretty sure that <span>the characteristic that distinguishes a ballad from other types of narrative poems is being shown in the  last option from the scale represented above : </span><span>a dramatic plot. The main point which makes ballad different from other types of poem is that its plot usually leds to unhappy ending, or consists of moving twists that creates mood of sadness.</span>
