Answer: Preserve glucose dependent tissue.

Explanation: The body preserve the glucose dependent tissue because the brain uses glucose and ketone bodies as fuel for its working.

The glucose level in the body should not go below a certain level hence the body starts using fat derivatives.

In prolonged starvation the brain starts using the ketone bodies for its working but it can lead to ketonuria and ketone body excretion.

Hence, in case of starvation the body preserves the glucose-dependent tissues and shifts on other energy sources.

What type of bonds form between the nitrogenous bases? Why are these bonds important?
Bond [772]

Answer:

The bonds that are formed between nitrogenous bases are Hydrogen Bond.

Explanation:

When a hydrogen atom interract with an electronegative atom such oxygen, fluorine hydrogen bond forms,

A single hydrogen bond is weak noncovalent bond but collectively they exerts  very strong interraction.

Hydrogen bonding occurs between complementary base pair .For exam An adenine base forms 2 hydrogen bonds with thymine base whereas guanine forms 3 hydrogen bonds with cytosine base.

The hydrogen bonding between complementary is very much important to stabilize the structure of DNA .

Why is a fat-free diet dangerous? It can cause the body to break down muscle tissues. It can result in a deficiency of essential
Aleksandr-060686 [28]
A fat free diet is dangerous because IT CAN RESULT IN DEFICIENCY OF ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS.
Essential fatty acids refers to those fatty acids that humans must eat in their foods because the body can not synthesize them and they are required for good health. There are three type of essential fatty acids, these are arachidonic, linoleic and linolenic acids. When these essential fatty acid are absent in one's diet they lead to ill health.
