Answer:

According to the concept of reincarnation, what would a man hope to return as human in higher caste

Explanation:

In various religions, particularly in Hinduism, the subject of reincarnation holds a lot of importance. The Bhagavad Gita itself states that the physical body is nothing but just like clothes. The soul wears it only when it's new. When it wears off, the soul replaces it with a brand new body. It is believed that the whole cycle of birth and reincarnation is an endless cycle until it acquires perfection and unites with God.

In India, a lot of importance is given to the concept of castes and sub-castes and there is a hierarchy that is present. It has been a long followed culture that the higher castes are provided with more respect, dignity and privileges. so it only obvious that a person would like to be reborn as a person of higher caste in the hierarchy.

For what reason would the French Monarchy censor Enlightenment ideas?
balandron [24]

Answer: Because the Enlightenment as a movement sought to take away the primacy of religion and politics.

Explanation:

The Enlightenment as a movement emerged in Europe, primarily France. According to its principles, the Enlightenment advocated views contrary to politics and religion. The ideas of the Enlightenment were based on freedom, nature, and reason. Such views were against the principles of forms of government such as the absolutist monarchy. Hence the political opposition to the Enlightenment movement.
