Why is there no record of music written by the Troubadors, but there was written music for the church?

They could have written it in later years or they may have only wrote church music.

Answer:

Because during the Troubadours period, the Church had all the power, and everything that was created or composed, it was absorbed by the Church and credited to it. Beyond this fact, it was not common among the Troubadors the tradition to write their songs, which turn it easy to the Church to keep the songs under its influence.

Explanation:

Troubador's school existed during the High Middle Ages in territories such as Galicia and in some points of Italy. These countries during this period were extremely catholic, and the Church had a tremendous influence on art and culture. Troubador's compositions, one way or another, were credited to the Church because of its influence and power.

I remember when I was little, I dunno when exactly, but, when I found out that music and dance is art, I was soooooooo surprised and I had no idea what dance was, I seen it but I I did not know that was Dance and I showed my parents that I could dance too, and i could almost say I was addicted back they till our down stairs neighbors complained and I stopped dancing, and I started ballet when I was 12 or 13 I think and stopped agin and didn’t dance agin
