The correct answer is we could produce more stuff, stuff that people actually wanted.

Richard Arkwright’s machine changed society into a consumer society, which means that we could produce more stuff, stuff that people actually wanted.

Richard Arkwright’s (1732-1792) was an English inventor and industrialist. He revolutionized the industrial world with one of his inventions: the water frame machine that used power-driven machinery that was used in textile factories to improve the manufacture process. Without doubt, Richard Arkwright’s machine changed society into a consumer society, which means that we could produce more stuff, stuff that people actually wanted. People began to buy more things and the fabrics produced those things people demanded.
