Answer:

John was saying by his words that he thought of her sometimes but he wouldn't dare try to go after her again. His tone was kind of rude and I say this because he literally said "I'll cut off my hand."

Abigail was saying for them not to speak another word about anything or she would pretty much kill them with a knife in the dead of night.  Her tone wasn't nearly as nice as John meant his. The words used to say this was "I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you."

I believe that sentence 5 is the one where a semicolon should be added, as it joins two separate sentences of a similar content. It should look something like this: "<span>Water is not everywhere; it's miles away."</span>

Ask either of the men who are in front of the doors: "If you were the other man, which door would you tell me leads to the 2 million dollars?"

The truth-teller, positioning himself as a liar, will say the door which does not have the 2 million dollars.
The liar, positioning himself as a truth-teller, will also say the door which does not have the 2 million dollars because he is a liar.
