Each lap of the track at Oak Middle School is 1/4 of a mile. Jacob jogged around the track and completed 9 laps in 30 minutes.

Figure out what distance was walked if he walked 7 laps at 1/4 mile each (7/4 of a mile). Divide that by the 30 minutes and then convert that to miles per hour.
