Answer:

D

Explanation:

It wasn't campaign financing. Money was not on anyone's mind until Clinton came along and made it an issue.

Defense spending was in the same category. People still believed what President Johnson (LBJ) said about guns and butter.

It wasn't gun control. The 2nd amendment had not quite become an issue.

Education Reform is your closest answer. Pat Buchanan made quite an issue about the need to stop Private Schools from being picked on. Education is closer to cultural reform than any of the others.

In recent years, most illegal drugs have entered the US through __________; in the 1980s, most came from __________.
topjm [15]

In recent years, most illegal drugs have entered the US through (D) Mexico; in the 1980s, most came from Colombia.

In the last few years, smugglers have managed to sneak drugs across the border in different ways. Most of them have hidden drugs such as cocaine and heroin in their vehicles or in their shoes. In addition, in the last two decades more than 200 tunnels used to transport marijuana and cocaine have been discovered on the Southwest border. However, in the 1980s, most drugs entered the US from Colombia due to the Medellin Cartel led by Pablo Escobar. This drug cartel processed coca imported from Bolivia and Peru into cocaine and then distributed it through different trafficking routes in the United States, including Florida, California and New York.

Tell me stuff about the boston tea party thats not basic pls
Daniel [21]

Boston Tea Party was a political protest in the state of Massachusetts. The Americans called out Britain for imposition of taxes without giving them adequate representation. In the symbolic move, they dumped loads of tea in the harbour and hence the name.

Explanation:

Boston Tea Party in its sense was the first symbol of rebellion against British hegemonic policies in the colonised US. Some of the other important facts associated with the Boston Tea Party includes-

  1. The prevailing notion is that colonist attacked King George’s tea and dumped it into the Boston harbour. The tea was privately owned by EIC (East India Company) and was transported on private shipping vessels. Though the act was symbolically against British authorities, the whole damage was to private traders.
  2. The tea had Chinese origin, not Indian. There is a prevailing misconfusion that Tea was Indian. It must be made sure that the British exclusively imported tea from China.
  3. There is another thought that tea party success rallied for revolution across the colonies. However, it is far from true. It was rather UK parliament sanctioning of Intolerable Acts that called for harsh punitive measures for colonial rebels that caused flaring of the rebellion.
