The statement streams have a detectable current, while rivers do not is false.

Further Explanations:

A stream is defined as the segment of water flowing within a bank, bed of a tributary controlled by groundwater, surface water, and subsurface water. The subsurface and the surface water current varies with change in climate as during rainy season it experiences heavy flow while the intensity of the flow of groundwater remains almost the same. Rivers are natural flowing watercourse, generally, freshwater flowing into an ocean, sea and another river. In some instances river even flows into the ground before reaching any other water source.

Both streams and rivers have detectable currents that can even be calculated. Current is defined as the flow of water in the river or stream in the direction in the direction of flow. This current which can be observed and calculated are considered as detectable current.

Environmental problems need global intervention. Explain briefly
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

(This is only very brief)

Environmental issues are created by the earth as a whole which includes all the countries within it therefore making environmental issues global issues. No country alone has caused global warming. This also means that no country alone is able to single-handedly defeat an environmental issues which have now spiralled out of control. No one has enough resources, that's why it would be better if there was a global intervention for environmental issues because the more brain power and resources, the better.
