Since in this problem, we are dealing with a balloon we can now say that the container or the shape we are dealing with is a sphere. The volume of a sphere is V =  \frac{4}{3}  \pi  r^{3} hence the volume is directly proportional to the radius. The volume increase by a factor of r^{3}
