it is possible that some genotypes within the population may be lost , because the population is small and there is high genetic diversity with highly variable types of genes.This may lead to less reproduction within the population as organisms may die soon and no reproduction taking place will ultimately lead to the extinction of the given population.Due to less migration ,the population will not spread to other regions, to reproduce with similar genotypic organisms  and will hence be wiped off the surface of the earth.
