cestrela7 [59]
Answer: A. Increasingly crowded urban areas
Explanation: Think about it this way. If you heard about more products being made in a city that means what? More jobs! Many people moved to cities and then made the cities unsanitary and many diseases spread around such as hepatitis. this fossil was found in a dry, mountainous area. What can you infer about how the area has changed over time?
WINSTONCH [101]

Fossils are the remains of plants and animals that have been preserved for millennia in stones under the Earth's surface. They contain the long chapters of the history of our Earth. Fossils tell us what the earth looked like many millions of years ago, what kind of animals and plants lived on its surface and how it was changing. Fossils show us a history of over a billion years old.

From the fossil from a dry, mountainous area we can conclude that the area was once underwater and over time the soil has risen as result of continental drift and uplift. So, a mountain was once the bottom of a prehistoric ocean or sea.

Which sequence of events affecting moist air within Earth’s atmosphere causes cloud formation?
IrinaVladis [17]

The correct answer is - (1) rising expanding cooling condensation.

At first there's the evaporation of water, since the water vapor is less dense than the air it rises up and starts to expend as it goes further upwards in the atmosphere. Once it reaches the upper layers of the troposphere than the cooling process starts because the temperature is decreasing with the altitude. Because of the cooling the process of condensation will start taking place and thus the formation of clouds were the water vapor returns to liquid form and creates rain. The cycle repeats its self all the time.
