 I would have gone West to settle there.2. President Thomas Jefferson believed that our nation depended on westward expansion so we can secure more land and be prosperous. 3. On the trip west I would have experienced crossing the Rocky Mountains. Other than that, there wouldn't be very much, except for plague and starvation.
