Answer: weather service maps, data from instruments and personal observations

A meteorologist is a scientific professional who applies scientific principles to explain, observe, understand and forecast the changes that can occur in an earth's atmosphere they also find out how the changes in the earth's atmosphere affects the climate and the life of the organisms. Why can the complex sugar cellulose store more energy that the sugar glucose
adelina 88 [10]

Because they contain less "built-in" water.

Explanation:

When two glucose molecules 'decide' to bond, they lose a molecule of water:

<span>2<span>C6</span><span>H12</span><span>O6</span>→<span>C12</span><span>H22</span><span>O11</span>+<span>H2</span>O</span>

And this happens at every connection between glucose molecules, so in a long chain a lot of water is lost. The water does not contribute anything to the energy content of the compound.

1. What happens to the ratio of surface area to volume as the cell size increases without the cell changing shape?
Paladinen [302]
As the cell size increases, the ratio of surface area to volume DECREASES.
The surface area to volume ratio refers to the area per unit volume of a cell. As a cell increase in size, the surface area  and the volume of the cell also increase but at an unequal rate, a point will be reached where the ratio of the surface area to volume will be so low that the diffusion becomes very inefficient, at this point, the cell has to divide in order to increase its surface area to volume ratio and to increase its diffusion rate.
