Answer: The library's holdings increased from 4 million books last year to 4.2 million this year.

The main point that Joshua is trying to make is that the entire community depends on library programs, and that these are threatened if funding is reduced. Options A, B and D discuss library programs, as well as the people who use them. However, option C does not address either one of these topics. It only talks about the number of library holdings, which is irrelevant to the services.

"<span>The library's holdings increased from 4 million books last year to 4.2 million this year" is what I believe the answer is, as this is the only one that doesn't directly affect the entire community.</span>

Compare and contrast the genres, figurative language for the origin of the pleiades and the pine and the tree that absorbed tear
cricket20 [7]
Nature helped in both stories with the tree that absorbed tears and the pine tree that grew in the place of the boy that was sucked into the ground. The genres of both stories you could say are folk tale and lesson to be learned. There are metaphors and similes throughout both of the stories. You could say the tree that grew in place of the boy was a sign of the boy's former life. The tree that absorbed the girls tears took away all of her sadness.

I'll mark brainliest if correct
Anettt [7]

Answer:

The answer is D -- in the absence of any other context.

If, on the other hand, this passage is an excerpt from an actual story (of which I am unfamiliar), then it's possible that one of the other responses is correct instead.

Which statement best compares the characteristics of Robert Wagner and Alfred E. Smith?
padilas [110]

Hello. You forgot to say that this question is about "The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire". Also, you forgot to enter the answer options, which prevents me from showing you the exact statement about the characteristics between the two men.

However, through reading the text, we can see that the two have a strong concern with working conditions in Africa and are committed to seeking improvements and progress for workers in that region. You must look for this information, to answer that question.
